Dates
The dates of the three sessions in the 2017-18 school year are:
- Session I – September 30 through December 9, 2017 (November 25 off for Thanksgiving)
- We will have a second week off in this session to give a lecture that is entirely in Spanish.
- Session II – January 6 through March 3, 2018
- Session III – March 10 through May 12, 2018 (March 31 off for Easter)
All lectures begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

We normally contact schools in early September with information about the coming SMP sessions. Check with your science teacher(s) to see if your school is on the list. We think we have all schools within 50 miles of Fermilab covered, but you may contact us to be sure.
